CD storage on centre console

Hi guys, has anyone taken the CD storage off the centre console and refitted it. It sits just behind the armrest and mine has developed a bit of a rattle whe driving over uneven roads. I've got some thick card wedged in the gaps to hold it until I can find a more permenant fix.

Just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem and how they've fixed it??

Any help is much appreciated.

I had the same problem but got the dealer to fix it. Think he took it off and put some more padding in.

I'm assuming it was done under warranty? If I knew how to get it off without wrecking the console i'd take it off and pad it myself. Next service isn't due until May and it is alot of hassle just to take it in for that.

Yep mine was done under warranty. Got it done at the same time as the rattles in the drivers and passengers door, so the car was in for a day anyway.

pretty easy to remove this cd holder. Get in rear seats and put your finger(s) on carpet (press carpet down and put your fingers through gap) as low as possible and try to go under cd holder,then behind it and pull it out, its hold only by metal clips, no screws.
