CD Changer

Hopefully i'm posting this in the right place!!

I've got a 2001 Ibiza Cupra.

For some reason the who had it before me took the cd changer out as i've been told every Cupra came with it as standard.

I've got hold of a JVC 12 disc changer.

I took the standard head unit out along with half of the dash!!! Hoping to find some sort of AUX plug but there is nothing!!

I've looked everywhere, where do you connect it to???

Will i'll be able to use all 12 cd's???

Hope someone can help as driving with the radio for the last few months is doing my head in!!!!

ummm u wont be able to use it i dont think mate

the connection is in the boot under the carpet on the passengers side but the connection prob wont be the same for a jvc nor will u be able to use the later 6 disk slots anyway as the headunit only has 1-6

Thats exactly where i have looked but not been able to find anything. I have just read about some Conexxions box i can get and also read about someone uprating there CD changer to a 10 disc.

Think i mite have to go to a seat garage tomorrow.

It's a Connects2 adapter you need mate, avilable from Halfords. The changers weren't standard equipment, they were an option. As you've got a 12 disc changer you'll only be able to manually select discs 1-6, then scroll up 1 by 1 from 7-12

just to point out...the connects2 adaptor doesnt connect any old changer to the standard lead...hence why i never advised it...not saying it wont fit yours...but it doesnt work with every changer out there...trust me...i know

i use an 8 disc changer via a interface connecter

Connect 2 lead only mainly works with Sony Changers if I remember correctly... well thats the only changers I got to work with it!

im using a pioneer with a (bad spelling) peripheral solutions connector
