Hi,

Right i know i cant fit the standard cd changer to an after market but am wanting a cd changer so is there any that would fit in the hole the old one left that will fit my kenwood headunit?

Best bet is to measure up the OEM one and then go hunting. Halfords used to stock changers and would happily let you measure up but since MP3/WMA etc devices have taken off, in-car CD changers are almost a dead technology.

You could see if you can identify a car model that has a kenwood radio from the factory, and then see if the likes of Connects2 do a Panasonic adapter for it (they possibly have both pieces of info already if they have a catalogue/application guide)

The Leon CD changer actually is a Panasonic unit - so the fit is guaranteed, but it's potentially costly (& risky) finding a solution that works

Panasonic headunits have fallen a little behind the times since fold-out screens were the 'in' thing, but they're decent, if slightly limited, products if you wanted to keep a standard-fit CD changer and could live with changing your current headunit
