Hello I'm back with more questions.... hope you dont mind..

In my 99 V5 I have the factory 6 disc in the glove box and I was wondering whether the will read WMA CD's.. Tried MP3 and it told me to go away and stop having a laugh..

Any ideas or can you reconmend an alternative changer that will work with the standard headunit and fit in the slot ??

Standard changer won't, nope :(

One idea that does spring to mind is the SONY range of compatible changers - they're sold as MP3 changers, but I don't personally have any experience with one of these.

AFAIK it can't be done. Its cheaper to get an aftermarket HU (Alpine etc), fit that and remove the multichanger.

Thats what I've done, nice and easy - although the original loom is very short so I got hold of some ISO plugs and crimped those on to extend it. Cable tied the old changer plugs out of the way with some cloth covering the plugs so they don't vibrate against the dash.
