CD changer problem

Hi guys.

When I bought my Ibiza it had already had an Ipod adaptor lead fitted and also had a ten disc Sony changer in the boot, however when I attempted to use the changer it would only ever recognise CD4 (even if there were no CD's in the magazine it would attempt to play "cd 4".

So I just chucked my ipod in and forgot about it, I then managed to source another CD changer thinking that the issue lay with the old one in the car however it has sorted the issue and the changer is still sticking on cd4.

Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be caused by the Ipod connection??

i don't have a cd changer in mine but i do have the ipod cd changer adapter thing

and when i plug my ipod in it does the same jumps straight to "cd4" playlist i think it maybe a fault with the ipod box but not to sure how to solve it for the cd changer. I usual just unplug my ipod a few times n it eventually works or by pressing "cd1" the second i plug it in again. i dont know if that would help your self at all,sorry i couldnt be of any real help

When i plug the ipod in it first shows CD4 then skips to cd1 in a matter of seconds.

Anyone else got any bright ideas?
