So, i have this catch tank still fitted to my car even though ive replaced the entire PCV system.
All working perfectly.
I left the can in place just to see what was passing through the breather system.
After about 4k of driving its collecting about 1/2 teaspoon of oil. So, all good in my book.
Happy to leave it in place but going for a remap soon and wondering weather to delete it and fit a standard (well silicone) interconnecting hose or leave it in place.
Theory being, although its sealed, the fumes have further to travel to the tip with the can fitted.
So delete or leave it?
A pic seas a thousand words.....

Aslong as it can vent then it's irrelevant.

If you can't be bothered to empty it then remove it. If you can then keep it
