Dependant on the quality of the work done, that could be quite a bargain car assuming you wanted to drive it till it was worthless.

Have an engineers report and check insurance, otherwise a REALLY good price!
Also check with the insurer because usually if the car has been involved in a total loss claim the insurance company will not pay out again as the car has alreay been paid out on before!

Too good to be true i think. He could have easily got £7-8k for it even on CAT D.

Only a mobile number aswell, i bet the seller wants to meet in a carpark also.

true, there is very little details, especially important things like, tax? mot? engineers report? mileage? service? where the damage was?

It depends on what the damage was and how well its been repaired. May look well nice in the picture, but when you look at the other side, may be awful. There is a reason why its at that price, there always is.
