Hi all,

Here's my little project:

Bought from the fleabay for cheap as a CAT D, delivered on a trailer looking not too bad,

about 20 mins later things looked a whole lot worse!

New parts;
FR bumper and grills
Front core support
Aircon condenser
Radiator
Intercooler (sourced a larger alloy one, decent build)
Intake manifold (sourced latest part from S3, original injectors)
Engine undertray
Both front wheel arch liners
Bonnet
Both headlights

Put it all back together, needed a rear ABS sensor and a new rear wheel bearings.
Since it now had a larger inter-cooler I bought a forge twintake (for a leon, but fits well).
Couple of longer drives and turns out that two of the wheels are buckled, so just bought myself some supercopa BBS wheels from Sere motors, cheers Dave!

This is how it sits just now, wheels, an exhaust then re-map and I'll leave it alone for a while, unless a cheap WOTBOX comes up! ;)
Will put up some better pics after the wheels are on and it stops raining in Aberdeen.

I think it was CAT D due to uneconomical repair!? I used mostly used genuine parts so saved a bit over dealer prices etc. First MOT since rebuild on Monday then new wheels and paint!

I looked into getting a different bumper, but apparently the rears don't fit at all, and the fronts are a slightly different depth, I agree though, would have liked the BTCC front on!
