Just wanted to sing the praises of Castlegate Seat in Norwich. I ordered a new Leon FR 2 weeks ago and went to pick it up today.

From start to finish, the salesman (Paul Goldsmith) was top class. He regularly kept me updated on the progress with the car, gave me a fantastic price for a new FR and I picked it up today with no problems. I had reqyuested the car was not cleaned prior to me taking it and I was happy to see it looking a little dirty and dusty today!

Even while I was checking the car over prior to paying, Paul pointed out an alloy wheel chip and told me a new wheel had been ordered and would be fitted for me.

Well done Castlegate for some fantastic customer service. I would recommend anyone going there for a new or used car. The reason I went to Castlegate for the FR when I live 50 miles away was because they gave me great service when I purchased my Mk1 Cupra 3 years ago.

Nice to have a freindly and helpful dealer........

Good choice mate, can't rate Paul or Castlegate highly enough to be honest.

I was gonna go for a LCR as I previously had a Mk1 Cupra 180 (53 plate), but the new shape grew on me more and more. I test drove the petrol FR and loved it. Noticeably quicker than the 180 and I am glad I went for the new shape.

I actually managed to sell my Cupra privately which was a bonus as most of the dealers were offering much less than I wanted. However, the price I got for the new FR was only a little over the amount many dealers are asking for ex-demos!

Good luck with the LCR search.......what colour are you going for? My Cupra was platinum grey and it was a great colour......this time I've gone for Red on the FR and I must say it is a good colour for the Mk2........

i currently drive a bilberry metalic red (burgandy!!) cupra.

paul has told me that he has got an lcr coming in by the end of the month as some one is buying a new cupra and p/x the lcr.

he says it is in very good condition, so he sounds good to his word, so hopefully it is!

sounds great.....if I went for the LCR I would have had a red one! They look great in red. There was one for sale over at Marshall's at Cambridge when I looked over there not long ago. Think it was an 05 or 55 but it did have 30 k on the clock.........

I'm sure Paul will sort you out though.....

I also can reccomend Castlegate after buying my Ibiza FR from them a couple of weeks ago. Did a similar thing to mrrus asked to see the car in a non valetted state and the majority of the problems were actually pointed out by the salesman!

Haggling was pretty hard though they knew what they would take for it and pretty much stuck by it... did get a couple of referbished alloys and new tyres chucked in plus a bit of paint touch up
