I have the standard alloys on a 55 plate Leon TDI 150 FR and the fronts are looking a bit of a mess as they have gone a bit yellow in places and the brake dust won't come off with soap and water.
I got a Car Care wonder wheels cleaning kit, but I'm not sure if its going to damage the alloys.
Has anyone tried this kit? If so what results did you get?

cleans them up nicely..but its an acid..so if you have splits or cracks in the laquer it will get in there and corrode...so from the sounds of it, i would refurb your wheels....use the acid cleaner to get off the majority of the muck though

Its a bit severe in my experience good now and again if wheels are minging.I suggest a bottle of billberry wheel cleaner excellent and can be diluted if wheels are just needing a light clean is a safer option.
