There will be a few people along shortly who had these fitted and will be able to help you , but you will also probably be told they dont do much much than the standard air box , so if you have bought it for power gains it wont do that much for you :(

mainly bought it for the sound m8.. one of the lads at work has had one fitted and it sounds mint!!! plenty of chatter :)

Bit confused here, if you only bought it for the sound surely a CAI would be even noisier and you'd get the added bonus of more power. The BSH intake is £150 i think, which is probably cheaper than the carbonio and does both, sound and performance .

His car must have had other modifications then as the Carbonio does not alter the intake noise and it certainly does not give chatter.

Wasnt getting excited mate :)

As for fitting, its pretty easy. You remove 2 screws from the slam panel that hold on he inlet, remove the inlet duct (will need spider leg grips for the clip that holds the inlet to the engine cover). Then unclip engine cover to the turbo intake pipe, disconnect piping to DV and remove engine cover (there is a knack (e careful not to break the engine cover).

Open engine cover, remove OEM filter, put in new panel filter, close engine cover, replace on to car (easier to put part to cabin side of car on first and pull it down and forward for front mushrooms. Reconnect turbo intake pipe and refit the pipe to the DV. Then screw on Carbonio to slam panel and use spider legs to connect it to the engine cover using the clamp that came off originally.

Job Done.
