Carbon Fibre Bonnet - Scratch repair

We have got about a 3 inch deep scratch on the bonnet, is there a simple repair/Cover up, or are we stuck with it, ?

has it gone into the weave ? or just in the lacquer ?

re lacquer and polish like hell ?

From memory its quite deep, so i guess we are stuck with it,

could try and get some resin into the scratch so it's less visible

I would put some lacquer into the scratch if it is very deep. As carbon composite material is quite dark it should lessen the impact of it.
