You would be cheaper getting them wrapped I'm sure

I was considering wrapping them... as I'm worried about breaking the clips as I take the cover off. I've had a quote of £50 to be done professionally. But... I do like the idea of having real carbon fiber.

I got a pair of replacement wing mirrors, painted gloss black from eBay for about £50.

There is a seller on the bay that does replacement caps & paints them in any colour of your choice.

I wouldn't bother with wrap, the wing mirror caps are far too fiddly to wrap.

To get the caps off, you prise the glass out & the clips that hold the cap on are accessed once the glass it out of the way.
If you try and get the caps off on a Face lift car, without moving the glass, you risk snapping the clips.

The chrome surround on the grill is easy enough to wrap though

There is a company in Thirsk North Yorkshire that's I spoke to who will do you a set carbon fibre skinned for £130. They buy brand new backing and skin them in real carbon fibre. I thought it was a good price as I was thinking of getting.g a few things done on mine. I found them on Facebook but can't remember the name of them now. Sorry.

I was the only person that bid for the set on ebay... so won them for 99.99. I asked the seller if they were vinyl, stick on, etc and he replied with:

"The factory used the original plastic cover for the base and used real carbon fiber to process it (it's NOT a cheap vinyl sticker)".

Well, just "tried" to fit carbon mirror caps. First thing is credit card just bent the card and the casing didn't budge. Lol. Taking mirror glass out was easy (got screwdriver right behind the center after adjusting glass to fully look at the car. Then clips took 10 seconds. BUT I believe the dipping process has distorted the carbon covered mirrors. After wrestling for 15 minutes i got the passenger side on. It looked ace. After 25 minutes wrestling the drivers is so badly out of shape I gave up. Refitted original caps and put glass back in in seconds. Contacted seller to say they don't fit right. Damn what do I do now!?
