Not that type as it's horrid :D. A plain non vented one can look good on the right car though.

You'll be suprised how much weight they take off of the front, pick up will be improved although, depending on car, might feel a little light on the front wheels in the corners.

I used to be into the whole JDM Honda scene, subtle OEM look styling, mainly a performance driven crowd. I had a carbon fibre bonnet then to shed more weight from the car so, believe it or not, they are a functional part but like everything good, the Max Power crowd ruin it all.

Once upon a time, spoilers were functional too :D

"Here at Carbon Designs we pride ourselves on being the U.K's premier supplier of carbon accessories in the aftermarket industry."

then they make a bonnet like that......

Just take it to a bodyshop, they'll be able to primer it and colour match it to your car. Make sure they do a good job though and layer the paint on or you'll be able to see the carbon weave through the paint. Nice mod but more of one to finish off the car than to start it.

i have one of them in my garage waiting to go on... are you saying i shouldnt :)

it stopped me getting one. have you asked re insurance? im thinking it could effect the ncap rating.

other thing that put me off is at very high speeds my leon gets light nosed as it is so a lighter bonnet wouldnt help. although rare id drive at those speeds.

you takes your choices.....:)

i was kidding buddy.... i would love a carbon bonnet though, it would have to be naked carbon and then a light coating of red so you could still see the weave.

my thoughts too bud,
carbon covered in the paint colour of your car, but light coats- just enough to show its carbon is the look....

dont understand getting it painted fully  whats the point of that?..
