Car wont start

Hi all

Started my last day in the year with a car that couldnt start.
The alternator i turning over, there is sparks from the spark plug, but the car wont start.

I'm suspecting the fuel to have ice crystals in it(Running vpower), and to be sure I added 20L of fuel to the tank, but the weather is still -5 celcius outside, so it might be a little to late now.(

If I spray ether in the throttle body, is can start and literally run on ether gasses.

So must be something with the fuel, can I just rip of the hose that goes in at the fuel rail on the left side?

If you do keep your drivers door shut and disconnect the battery.
When you refit the battery and open your drivers door the car should want to prime the fuel system.
I cannot remember whether this gets as far as the rail or just primes the pump.
But with an extra turn of the key the car will want to prime the fuel rail then, point this into a bucket etc and see what comes out.
If nothing then perhaps your right about the freezing but TBh i've never heard of a petrol car freezing, diesel yes but not petrol.

Could be your fuel filter being blocked.

Does your car sounf the same ie mpriming of the system prior to starting?

Ok, so just turning the key over will make it prime and I should see fuel coming out. Might want to try getting the FPR off, cause those hoses it damn stuck and the cold does not make it easier !

Well, had the car picked up and placed at my Seat dealer, the fuel pump was the sucker. Hopefully they get a new tomorrow.
