Hey guys im fresh out of ideas now. i will just tell you what the car is and what i have done so far see if any one has and ideas?

2002 ibiza 1.4 16v
I have changed the plugs checked there is a spark at each 1,
all the injectors are squirting.

The car has been playing up for a while now not starting but then it will fire up and all is fine... drives spot on. but then u could park it up for a little while and it wont start again. Other days it will fire up straight away no problems and drive fine.
Now it really has given up the ghost and wont start at all :(

Hope some 1 can help
Thanks Chris

not really sure, the only thing i can think of really is that it could be either a camshaft or crankshft position sensor.

The BBY engine does not have a cam shaft position sensor - but it will have a crank shaft sensor, as said already, it might just be the imobiliser, maybe you get to get it scanned, or buy your own cheap scan tool - the Gendan VAG one only costs under £40 and mine was delivered a couple of days after ordering it (www.gendan.co.uk) .
