Car Wont Start After Rain , Big puddles

Hello,

The car cut out on my yesterday right in the middle of town centre , this was after driving in very wet wether and I do recall going through a few large puddles.

when i try to start the car

the engine turns over but wont start, I have recently in the last few months replaced all coil packs and spark plus. I have put W-D 40 on most things I can find.

The car is now outside with the bonnet up catchin some sun, any ideas anybody?

Sorry if that seemed snippy... It's just, well everyone dreads the long sigh from the mechanic and the "it's gonna cost ya mate".... Thats why we come here to ask for help and get a cheap fix.

your car has possibly sooked up water normally not a good thing prob will cost you a bit unless u know a mec

I was going to say, you dont have a cone filter do you?
Its possible water splashed up and into the cone filter.
