Car Stalling

Hi Just hoping someone can shed some light into the problem i have been experiencing with my car.

While driving home from work yesterday and today my car stalled.

I was at about 15 mph and put my foot on the clutch to coast a little bit while braking for traffic and the revs dropped and the car stalled, This happend twice today on the way home.

The car has allways had a bit of a funny idle and not sure if its common on all ibiza's. When changing down a gear while slowing i.e for a roundabout the revs will drop to around 500 rpm

I recently had a coil fitted so its not going to be this.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

as Brummy's suggested, check out that thread

main culprits are likely to be:

Gunked up throttle body (clean it with carb cleaner)
Crank position sensor (PM smithy as he bought 3/4 when he got his)
ECU Control Relay (about £11 from VW dealer!)

give the cheapest ones a try first

Yeah i found that part number thanks

Also ordered a fuel pump relay as well.

Hope this sorts out the problems ive been having.

Fuel pump relay is around 25 quid yeah ?
