Car Polish

Guys,

Bit of a weird request but does anyone know of any companies that will polish my car to remove the swirl marks and blemishes. It's in need of some loving but I'm afraid i'll end up with a mismatch of panels if I attempt it with scratchx or similar.

Any ideas??

Hi Mate,


Im based in Baildon in Bradford BD17. When is the best time to do this weather-wise? I wouldnt want to spend all that money and have it ruined by the elements a week later. My car is generally clean it's just swirl marks and minor scratches.

nah its easy to compund polish a car will take 2 hours with machine then 1 to wash and wax. teach ureself its the best way andsave a buck or two just power wash once then wash and the rinse over about 4 times to get rid of grit.good roll of mutton clothe faracle g3 compund then a good wax or 2 or 3 but in a garage where its warm and let the polish set nice and hard and use water when compound polishing

I always thought it was best to wash before polishing.....
Then you'd want to clay it..... polishing is about the 5th step you'd take in reviving the car's paint.

He has done mine in march this year and i'm going back to him tomorow so keep an eye out for his posts showing before and after pics. I highly recomend his work and he'll be doing my g/f's car as soon as we have time to get to him

To get rid of swirls or blemishes you will need someone with a machine polisher to help aid the removal of these. A professional should be consulted if the paintwork is in a bad state as they should be able to remove most of these without too much hassle.
