evenin' all!!

after noticing a scratch on my boot (someone putting branches into the bin has scraped my boot) that wont polish out which im very very peed off at!

i want a car cover, something i can throw over with little aggro, i used to use a tarpaulin on my old car but it was a right pain in the arse, tieing (sp?) it down every night so soon got fed up of that!

any ideas appreciated as always :)

I used to have a classic car and the owners club really didn't like them as the cheaper ones trap condensation under and caused rot... admittedly not too much of a problem with modern cars ;) I hope!

Any chance for a carport?

well actually i have my house one side of the drive and the back of some council garages the other so theoretically it could be done.

what about planning permission though? also i want to try and keep the car out of site as much as poss!

check the local council/planning website, usually there's loads of guides and you can fill in some of the sides and it's still a car port - not a garage! I think the regs are different if its a garage?!? Check with planning though!

always spend that little extra on a qualtiy cover otherwise they will scratch it!

i bought one from coveryourcar.com, as was said above, if you read you can upgrade to a stormforce which is a fully breathable cover so you can put it on when its wet and it ul dry! you should so that mind unless its clean as the dirt will move with the cover and prob more chance it will scratch it,

the main reason i bought mine was i taking alot of parts off over the winter and not using it, so to protect from the weather, and there was builders accross the road doing a huge extention, and with them cutting blocks etc it was gettin absloutley stinking!

thanks rogers, was hoping youd pop along :)

ill look into that, ive actually just been speaking to someone about doing a swap with them to get a council garage in my local block!

so pending the results of that i may not have to worry about it! although it may still be worth buying an indoor cover for the garage

thanks all!
