cant talk to the ECU

for some reason, it says the kline is stuck, or cannot connect to the ecu.

the laptop is fine, cable works on others etc, only worry is something may have got wet on the RR day sat.

Anything i could try to see if i have a wiring problem?

Does it work on any other cars bud? If it does you need to reset your ECU.

a battery reset yeah? thats a shame cos its running well at the moment

well its heat mate, timing is no more advanced than a k03 map, so am leaving it till, full zorst on order, aquamist also so we shall see the CF's after that little lot

Why can't they just wind the timing back?

non communication may be down to after market stereo wiring shorting the k line?
