Can't decide which remap

I am looking for a stage 1 remap but can't decide on either revo or custom code. After Reading revo peaks earlier and then the power drops off custom code the power continues and peaks later but I can't decide which is best for me. I want the feel the car has now ie as I'm used to that. I dint really want to be loosing low end power or power top end. What would you guys recommend? Cheers guys

I was between Custom Code and Revo and chose CC based on the map being more driveable, However i have been in remapped stage 1 Revo LCRs, not driven tho and it seemed alot more aggresive.

So it ultimately depends on what you want, no one else. Either way you go i guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I would recommend upgrading your DV and TIP though to deal with the extra gains.

I had a revo remap on my mk4 golf GTI and it was very aggresive, it just shot the revs straight to 5000 so was very jerky, so on my LCR i opted for CC like stated by cunners it makes the car very driveable, but on the downside CC will charge you to upto stage 2 if you choose to fit a exhaust system where as my revo dealer made all his adjustments free but thats why revo costs so much more i assume.

I had a forge 007p dv and cat back piper exhaust, o asked the guy from revo about it and he said it would be fine but I would like the Tip too. I'm thinking custom code as I want to be able to drive without the power peeking too soon but I want the power to stay on longer like you said cunner gives you more power too and it's cheaper lol never driven a remapped LCD can you really tell the power difference on the custom code remap?

:-o Exactly what my face did when i first drove it, its just pulls all the way to the red! :funk:

It felt like i was in a lower gear, If you get what i mean. 5th felt like 4th, 6th felt like 5th. Probably to help sell it to me but the CC lads showed me videos of the standard TIP sucking shut with a remap. I would say it is a much needed mod before you get a map on it.

 Not one car will take to a remap the same as another. Personally, the way that my car was mapped by AMD appears to be a compromise between "aggressive" & "progressive", it's in no way undriveable day to day or normally, it's just the same as OE however it has a serious bit to in under hard acceleration.

Will from P-torque has remapped both my Ibiza and my LCR. Would recommend him everytime! Cheap pricing for a custom remap and the results are awesome :D

Surely that's true with a custom map such as AMD or CC, but all Revo Stg1 are generic ala identical? It's not like it's a Nissan GTR where every engine/car differs in output.
