Candy White order!!!

I found out today from my dealer than I am the only one so far to order a car with the new Candy White from them.

Apparently they have a few people who would like the colour on their car but dont want to commit until mine gets delivered, so they all want a sneaky peek first before I pick it up.

Am sure I wont be disappointed but I thought it was funny.

I also raised my concerns about 'wet windows' for the MK2 Leon and he told me it was a MK1 problem and if my car did get 'wet windows' it is easily fixed (will have to see about that one, watch this space).

Anyone know a place in the Herts area where I can get my Koni FSD's and Eibach Pro-kit ordered and fitted, I dont feel like driving halfway across the country?

Good news, look great in Candy.

Re your shocks ect , try R-tec on the Hatfield Road in St Albans. Always been pretty good when i've used them and were the only ones able to balance and track the wheels on my Celica after trying 3 other places.

No ones ordered Candy white at my dealers. Ours is the only yellow one on order with them, seems Inferi black and Zenith grey are the popular colours!!

Although once mine arrives, it's upto the dealers to get my dealer fit accessories on.

So come on then candy white owners(well almost) what extras have you all ordered. Go on then i will start, black cupra mirror caps,cupra high gloss black front and rear door pillar covers, cupra pedal covers, interior trim kit, infiity front speakers also lowering springs, i am reserving my opinion on shocks untill i drive the car.I am also the only person at seat droitwich to order a white car, order date 16/2/07(delivery this month ). leon fr 170tdi, 18inch alloys, bluetooth,bi xenons, winter pack, con pack, i pod conection. Dealer wants to put in it showroom as they think it will look stunning, i hope it will as the golf gti and polo gti, audi s line all look brill in white, i think the first lot of white cars should all turn up together, Stocky says his is on its way i just hope mine is next to his on the boat

Yep busting to get mine too... Candy White FR TDI, due 1/2 week of May as it seems is everyone elses! Gone for the obligatory 18s, ipod connection, chrome tailgate strip, mudflaps, xenons, alloy interior trim, mesh grill, private plate, full stonechip protection on front, cupra pedal kit... should be absolutely superb! Saw my first Cupra on the road today, chrono yellow... brill... talking of Cupra pedal kit, anyone manage to find the alloy footrest that matches the pedals that Seat had pictures of in the Cupra originally?

You guys are lucky, I only ordered mine on 17/3, so was told Late April build with delivery about late May, so I have a bit longer to wait.

Only ordered the 18's and Ipod.

Saw a thread about fitting Koni FSD's and Eibach Pro-Kit and thanks to Rob66 I am going to get these fitted at R-TEC on the Hatfield Rd, near St Albans, they have quoted me £165+vat for fitting springs and shocks (seems like a really good price to me compared to the other prices people have been paying).

I will buy the kit myself but get them to fit it for me.

I will be so jealous when you guys get your car before me, I wil have an extra couple of weeks to wait but I will still be the first one in the Hertford area

Glad you got a good quote, let us know how you get on, your car is going to look great in white, the rear aluminium trim is worth a look as well, not sure of price but know its not much and just sticks on.

Hey Rob, will give it a look. Thanks again for the RTec tip, its a really good price.

Am sure the car will be great, want to see it in the flesh first before I made any big decisions but the Aluminium trim sounds great.

Got the supagard on my car, that was very important, am thinking about Supaglass, but dont know too much about it, not too much car-crime in Hertford, plus its either parked in my drive or at work, so not much chance for someone to break in.

Besides the suspension I might upgrade the speakers and if I am feeling irresponsible then maybe get it REVO'd.

There is a candy white Golf GTi in our car park and when its clean it looks absolutely stunning. Its a contractors car so its only here on the odd occasion.

My respect goees out to anyone who owns it and manages to keep it clean, must be a labour of love in this country, but they do look great.
