Hey, I am trying to decide whether I get 45mm lowering springs for £85 or go for coil overs at £275, or another set of coilovers at £255. I want my car to sit low but not to low and I have measured the clearance I will have in a number of places I will go with the car (nan's drive, local car park etc.) and 45mm still leaves me with plenty of room. I should be getting some money soon from selling a few bits and pieces. The links below are of the lowering springs and coil overs thanks

Cheaper coilovers

More expensive coilovers

Or if anyone can find some better ones for under £300 then that would be great. Thanks

Speak with Damian from DPM as he'll be able to do something on springs for you.

To get it low the JOM kit will do the job but not sure how good the ride will be, obviously in most cases you get what you pay for.

Well tbh I only want it lowered because the car is going to be on show at the end of march and then I will be saving for some descent coilovers

Just had a look at a few reviews on the Jom coilovers and they seem to be quite good for £200 so when I can get the extra £85 that i need then I will buy some :) if I can find them cheaper anywhere else then that will be a bonus :) can anyone tell me how to install coilovers, I have had a quick look and it confused me lol, my dad said he would help with the instillation and stuff.

I'm so confused, I been talking to a mate who is a mechanic and he said I should go for springs if I want to save for some descent coilovers, which he has now convinced me to do, so now I have made a complete 'u turn' and now decided to go for springs, as they are cheaper, I don't know whether I should buy 30mm, 35mm or 45mm lowering springs

Dont get the Pi Springs. Ive been told bad things about them. Best bang for the buck on springs are Apex 35mm.

Get them from Damian (DPM Performance) at £100.

Hopefully soon I will be putting my 17" alloys back on so if anyone has any pics of their Ibiza with 17" alloys before lowering and after then that would be great.

I love the orange Ibiza's wish I had the option when I ordered mine :( thanks for the pics, it has helped a lot, I think I have made my mind up AGAIN!!! and I'm about to go and put the money in the bank so I can order a set of apex 35mm springs, just been on the phone to my mate and he said 45mm will put to much strain on the shocks or something (was a bad line, couldn't quite hear what he was saying) so if I still want the car lower nice the apex 35mm springs go on then I will have to do some more saving to buy myself some descent coilovers.

Thanks for your help everyone and sorry for being a pain lol

No worries mate. 35mm is a nice drop. Not to hard either. Speed bumps arnt much of a problem either. I have no idea how guys rolling lower get away with it. Especially the massive bumps that are in the middle of the road.

I hate them massive ones that your on about, I usually only drive half the car over them and half around them if that make sense
