Can somebody plz HELP with tyre and wheel fittment

Hi' All

Sorry if this is in the wrong section but me head is mashed.
Can anyone tell me if I can use 205/40/17 tyres on my altea the tyres on now are 225/45/17 and does ET 35 fit.
The reason I have posted in the ibiza section is because the alloys are from my old mk4 beezer, They are 5x100/5x112 multi fit.

Please somebody help me

Should do mate, as long as they are the multi drilled alloys.

No worries with offset either.

I'd go for slightly bigger tyres on the Altea...

Thanks mate, so I would be ok to run 205/40/17 on the altea it wont affect speedo or the weight wont be to much?

Be better with 225/45/17 as the Altea is a heavy beast!
