can i fit a cd changer

hi all

i have a '04 leon tdi s!! it has the grundis aura cd player but not climate control!! it currently doesn't have a cd changer although i would like to fit one!! the glove box has the blank fitted in it!! is it possible to fit a cd changer!!! the head unit has the cd6 button but i cannot find any cd changers with plugs that look like they woud fit on the back of my head unit!!!

any ideas??

Only the standard CD changer will fit the back of the standard headunit. If you take the stereo out you should see where it would plug in. I believe the headunit are all the same so all can take a changer (someone may correct me) so you just need to see if anyone is selling one in the for sale section or try a brakers or something, get them pretty cheap.

i think i need a lead between the head unit and the changer as they both have male plugs!!!

some on ebay as well for 60 odd quid buy now, pretty sure you'd get a cheaper one at a brakers or something.

Also what do you mean by blanked in the glove box?

The glove box for the CD changer is sort of in two parts. One where the changer would go and the other only really big anough for a cd if that. The other one i believe is just a normal glove box. So depending on that may mean a new glove box 'skin'to be able to keep it in place.

went to seat and the lead was only £20 so all connected up and working!!! cheers for your help!!!
