Hi people,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to adjust the height of the clutch pedal on an LCR. The height and biting point on mine is much higher than my old cupra's was and not as stiff either. Getting it serviced in a few weeks and will get them to do it if it can be done.
Cheers.

alreet lar - tell me if im wrong but is the clutch not self adjusting due to how warn it is?? i had a few problems with the clutch piston sticking on the shaft - when they finally replaced clutch and piston - everything(biting point) was exactly where it was before -

As mentioned, the clutch is a simple self adjusting hydraulic system.

So as adjustable as a brake pedal..............which you cant adjust either (unless there's air/leak in the system and it needs a good bleed to get it out (unlikely though).

Just wondered as biting point on my 53 cupra that i had was much lower and the pedal was stiffer than my current LCR.
Cheers anyway.

this is normal!

i have driven 2 cupras and about 4 different LCRs... the LCR's clutch travel is unfortunately about twice (well a good third!) the length of a cupra and it is also lighter due to this!

its not a problem at all, although i personally would prefer it if the LCR clutch peddle was the same weight but half the travel length if you see wat i mean?!
