can any1 help with oil pressure light

help needed asap with oil pressure light

hi there i own a golf mk4 gti turbo 2000 x reg, i am having a problem with the oil pressure warning light any1 got any ideas wat it could be? i have tried a few things over last few weeks for example

i have serviced it oil and filter change, only thing i didnt do was change the plugs, could this cause the problem also i have noticed that 2 of the coil packs keep popping up too if any1 can help i will be very gratefull also when the light is on i seem to get a rattle from the engine not a very loud one but its noticeable

Hey There,

Is it the Orange or Red light showing for the oil?
Did you check the Oil pressure switch, these can go faulty?

How do you know that there isn't a problem with the oil pressure?

Also if you disconect the battery for 10 old minutes, do you get the warning light when you connect it back and turn on the engine.

hi there its the oil light in the trip computer are and says oil pressure stop engine the fault seems to keep coming and going, no not checked the oil pressure switch where can i find that pal, yeah maybe there is a problem with the pressure wat would cause it to drop in pressure though sorry for been a pain if you can help more be very gratefull

p.s car seems to be running ok apart from this
