is there any camping at snetterton ? :help:
Yes there is, £15.00 per adult. It's infield by Riches Corner, good site with excellent permanent and temporary toilets. Stayed there a couple of weeks ago and even the wife was impressed ;)

Gets crowded for the BTCC meeting but a good site.

Also I would recommend staying until Monday morning, less hassle and an easy drive home.

£15?! I remember the days when it was a fiver. :(

I wasn't that impressed with it last year. Middle of the night and you need the toilet, they won't let you into the paddock to use those, so the only other options are the caravans, which are lit by a generator. Except the campsite stewards have turned the generator off so they can sleep and watch the telly in their Kia Prides when they're supposed to be on duty.

If you don't tell them on the gate that you're camping, you can normally avoid the fee. Sadly, Brands & Oulton are better policed than Snetterton

Couldn't you walk round the first aid centre to get to the paddock bogs - or had they blocked the entrance? You could certainly get to the paddock bogs on the Sunday morning.

The gate down by the first aid centre was locked and was being guarded. So I then attempted to walk in via the entrance next to the bar, only to be turned back by the stewards.

I can't be bothered camping at MSV tracks anymore. Oulton wasn't up to much this year either. The prices are getting higher and higher, but you get less facilities than you used to. Plus you aren't able to go for a nighttime stroll in the paddock like you used to. That was fun. Going around and seeing who was burning the midnight oil in the awnings. :)
