Had my car service yesterday by these guys.
Ive used them several times before and had no problems unlike other people so had no quarms with booking it in.
They also offered a free collection and delivery service which I thought was a bonus.
Got the car delivered back at 6pm last night. So went down to check it over and wsnt impressed by what I found!
Average MPG had dropped from 32 to 9.7!!! and the miles in the tank had dropped by 50 bearing in mind the trip from my house to the dealers and back was less than a 15 mile round trip.
Also the air con was on full blast (not exactly balmy outside!) and the seat was in what can only be described as the "pimp" position right down low leaning back, (bearing in mind im 6ft3 so not small) and the guy who collected the car was alot shorter than me.
Then when I took the car out that evening I noticed the tracking was out by quite a notable amount, pulling to the left if I took my hands off the wheel.
So basically for the £200 service I received, its gona cost me an extra £40 to top the fuel back up to where it started due to the joy ride and £30 for the tracking to be sorted!
I am fuming so the mrs went up today to talk to the guys there who tried their hardest to fob her off with alot of b*llsh*t and conflicting arguments!!
So overall not very impressed, ive spoken to Seat UK who are going to "investigate" but im not holding my breath to be honest.
I specifically went to a main dealer as I wanted to keep up the history and I thought they would show the car some respect but clearly I was wrong and could of saved a substantial amount of money by going to a specialist.
Rant over!
