Camber Adjustment Anyone help?

Just fitted H&R Kit on a couple days ago now.. Went to get it all tracked up at quick fit, they couldnt the the machine on the rear wheels, and they said i had positve front wheels and negative back wheel or other way round.. He had a quick look and said doesnt look like u can change the camber, but doing a search on here has proved me that you can?? I was just wondering if anyone has any pics on how u adjust the camber as i really havent got a clue and quick fit seem to be just as useless as me

If you aint got a clue what im chatting about then this pic should make it ovb!:D

Thanks
Lee

You adjust the camber by the 2 bolts on the bottom of the strut and by slightly adjusting the top mounts, but to do this by eye and a spirit level is near on impossible to get perfect. Your best best is to take it to a specialist (not the monkeys at kwik fit) that has 4 wheel laser wheel alignment and they will get it spot on. I paid about £45 for it to be done on mine.

It can definitely be done. The laser equipment Kwik Fit use isn't as accurate as the stuff I've seen at the proper garage I use either, I'd just stay well clear of them, lol.

Have you got rear spacers? That will help the rear wheels. You can adjust the front camber but at the expense of tyre wear. I could get mine adjusted in a bit but I don't want to go through my nice tyres quicker, lol.

If you can get yourself a digi spirit level you can do this yourself.
like said the strut to hub x2 bolts are for some adjustment.. roughly +/- 2.5 degrees on the "slop" in the holes.

For road use think somewhere between 1 & 1.5 degree's -ve camber.

You will need to adjust your tracking afterwards.

Been doing this all afternoon on badger wagen whilst setting new low ride height and swapping springs. Fiddly and time consuming.
