When is it time to change the toothed belt? The car has run 155000 miles (250000kms) and the last change (i think) was at 105000 miles (170000kms).

It's the AEX (1,4 8v) engine and the car is a -96.

every 60,000 miles ideally..... so yours has done 50k.... worth looking at getting it done asap.

Thats what I thought. Thanks mate. How often do you need to change the waterpump and tentioner?

Tensioner I'd do at the same time as the belt....

Water pump's probably worth doing to.

Try and get one with a brass/metal impellor, rather than a plastic one.

Thanks for the tip on spareparts. Think it'll be cheaper if I buy it from my local dealer since the p&p will be quite expensive (located in Sweden)
