i have a leon cupra "r" 2003.........210... its just comin up 2about 74000 will need 2 get the cambelt done and dusted..... but inside the engain i have little stickers sayin drive belt *new* 61000 next due 120,000 milessssss soooooo is drive belt just another name 4 cambelt or doooooo they dooooo diff jobs? etc etc? grrrrrr!! lol

In all seriousness though, the service cycle for cambelts in 60k/4yrs so it looks like it been done. I made sure that I got a 'cambelt stamp' in the log book to make it easier for the next owner to work out.

BTW, do you have all the receipts? Should be on one of those as well.

noooooo man its like 2nd hand *****...... lol nooooo i got the car on about 64k and noooo receipts saying its has been done, part from the little sticker inside the engain!! hmmmm strange! thanks for replyin tho!

does the sticker give any info of the garage/dealer where it was done? What about the stamps in the service book?

If the info is not there I wouldn't chance it, got mine done by JBS in Chesterfield for £315.
