well i duno about anywhere else but it was 34degrees in glasgow today and i was off work!! so instead of sitting about in the sunshine, i lay in the sunshine and did a bit of work on the car.

its nothing fancy but it does look really good.
gave my coilovers a bit of a clean as the grit from the road was leaving them looking poorly, so some of that and a wee bit of grease and that was that.
then onto painting my brake calipers using some hamerite paint and wet/dry sandpaper.

results are good, remembering im going with the "the only 2 colours on my car are red and black" and its still that way.

during after refreshment:

after (just so u know the car is still on the jack, hence the "i can still get a finger under those arches pic  )

im happy with the outcome, sorry for the pwnage with pics, adds a bit of detail though :D

Looking good buddy!

Liking the knocked pint glass too... not liking the fact you send me the pic via MMS while I was halfway through my shift!

thats one clean looking motor, do you have any trouble with ur drive shaft balancing weight rubbing??

never had any component problems, well not yet.
but it does rub something awful with it being so low, im thinking on winding the coilovers up before i do damage to the car or any1 else if anything snaps etc when im on the move.

thanks, its quite a shiner :p

Go for red... I think my came with red calipers from the factory, don't look painted on with a brush more powder coated but anyway red goes nice with the kiwi colour, soon to be replaced with Brembos when I get my car back tho :)
