Came home from University today in a bit of a rush because I had work at 4.45 (Part-time Tesco's) so went in got ready then back in the road again to head to work...was running a bit late so might of went slightly over the speed limit a few times ;) but came up to sharp corner and to my horror I fought a puddle about the size of a lake :-o...went to avoid but two cars coming on other side of road so forced to go through it...hit water and just about held onto the car but knew something just wasn't right...got to work went round checked car and found out one sideskirt missing

Dreading phoning the dealers tomorrow because I doubt I'll get one through stealers...I've learned my lesson :lol:

I'm hoping they are not too much from the dealers as I have just asked my mate to get me some:doh:
He does get a staff discount there though:-o

Must have a look at the set on ebay here now thanks for the info Kenny!!

Well I remember going to the dealers just over a year ago finding out prices for different parts of the LCR kit (as mine is just a TDi) and well lets just say I didn't buy from them  Well at least you'll get a bit of discount it helps knowing people eh? ;)

Yea went back to the puddle about 5mins or so after it happened...it was about half a mile away from work so when I hit puddle I'd a bad feeling but went on ahead and got to work wasn't until I turned back to lock the car that i noticed the skirt was missing from the passenger side so sprinted in and clocked in  then back out to the puddle, parked a wee bit down and got soaked running down the road...found the side skirt badly dented and twisted out of shape so some car must of hit it not long after :(

Lesson to be learned?...don't speed in the wet on roads that aren't main roads just to be on time for work :headhurt:

Yep - the prices of the skirts alone are the very reason why I'm not going to bother facelifting my Cupra any more, if anyone wants my front and rear facelift bumpers let me know befor I stick them on fleabay. Can't be bothered tbh.

I have a set of m3 style ones that might be of use to someone got them for my old beezer, but didnt fit them due to getting the Cupra. Dunno if they'd be the same size lengthways to fit a Leon, though
