Morning all. :D
As in the thread title, my front and rear bumpers will be coming off soon for a respray.
Any jobs/mods (other than FMIC which I don't have the cash for) which I could get done with the benefit of them being off?

Cheers,
Steve

With the SMIC in there there isn't alot of space to do many mods TBH.
If you have HID's then you could fit your ballast in an out of the way cool place.
You could remove your Fogs and punt them on. this will give you increased air flow to these.
Cleaning your SMIC and emptying out the oil that will be in them will help your cooling too.
You can flush these internally with soapy water to get rid of the oil build up. This was done by one of our other members but he didn't get rid f the soapy water with dire results.
When you take off the front bumper open up the wheel arch liners and unbolt the clip instead of having to pull the bumper out of said clip, saves on potential feck ups with newly painted bumpers.

I'm not removing them but I'll pass on the advice about the clips to the garage that is.
Thanks.

Not painting them either ;)
I got scraped by a nice old guy in a Merc in Sainbury's car park the other day.
He said he'd pay and I sent him a quote. Got the cheque yesterday. :D
He actually hung around and waited for me to return to the car to admit it.
Not something you see every day!
Unfortunately, most people would just :censored: off ! ;)

So it's off to one of my local paint shops and they can do the lot!

I'm going to get my rear bumper done at the same time as it has paint off it caused by an over eagre jet washer. (I know, I know.... I should be washing it myself..... :banned:)
