Bulb gone on dash

A mate of mine has a Leon with the normal a/c controls (not climate) and the bulb seems to have gone so the dials are no longer illuminated. Does anyone know if there's an easy way to replace this, where the bulb is exactly etc ?

Its behind the middle knob iirc and it just pulls out. Bulb replacements are from halfords possibly!

This happened to my Leon last wednesday. Simple fix, clench a fist and thump the side of the dash where the heat controls are located. Hey presto the dials are illuminated again.

The same thing happend in my old Cordoba and the fix was the same!

Yeah, a lot of the time it's the dimmer knob/roller that's faulty, not the bulbs themselves
