well driving to halfords and i herd a blow out
my exhaust manifold is cracked right round at end of the port
and the bolts look like they will snap taking it off

I would look at getting it to an exhaust specialist/fitter.

They probably deal with this kind of thing all the time. I know replacement is expensive, but you can get them to do it, plus if anything goes wrong they have to deal with it.

Plus they have all the equipment for the job.

It is a ******* though, hard cheese.

yeah il take it off and weld it with a cast rod
tomorrow night and get a new gasket

ive also got to put in wishbone bushes and a rear wheel bearing
