bugger - windscreen wipers

ive now fitted my aero wipers

slight problem

i over tightened the passenger side and ive snapped the nut/bolt

is it easy to replace jus that one part or do i need a whole new wiper motor?

i think its number 4 i need in that diagram

number 4 looks like its possibly the lttle rubber which sits around the base of the bolt u snapped?

hmm

basically the part ive snapped is the bolt you screw the nut onto to hold the wiper arm on the car (does that make sence lol)

i think it looks lke number 9, which is the wiper assembly, looks like one whole unit, however i could be wrong, if you could take that out then maybe you could see if its one part or not?

drill a hole and use a self tapping screw with washer.
that will do the trick.

that quick fix andy sounds like a good idea for a tempary fix until i get it propery sorted


ive got a stone chip in my screen and the screen its self looks terrible when lights/sun hit it

so when i replace my winsdscreen i will fix that wiper problem and fit my black interior mirror at the same time

kill 3 birds with 1 stone...
new windscreen
wiper bolt
black wing mirror
