Hi guys, ive searched around the site with not much luck for this one. Iam looking to pretty much strip my lc interior of its front and rear leather seats in a weight saving/its only ever me in the car so dont really need them move, thing is has anyone else done this? First iam stuck on what seats to get? i dont really want s3 or golf ones as i dont think that would save much weight wise? Also would taking them out cause an issue with the air bags in the seats bringing up a fault light or what not? So really if any of you have gone down this road help me out an point me in the right direction, iam lost! lol, cheers guys, any none [:@] would be welcome!

whats it for?track days/racing or just lugging timber around?racing requires FIA approved seats, track days not so regulated,3 or 5 point harnesses on standard seats can be a hazard, they aren't designed to "work ",but that doesn't stop alot of people from mixing and not matching.

Its my work car,so for whats its worth iam almost turning it into a van! lol. Being a chippy my tools are in and out all the time an as anyone knows its a big old space when the seats are down, iam goin to take it to the next level by taking them out to open it right up. Its never goin to be taken on a track so FIA approved isnt an issue, its only going to be road and iam looking to use the standard belts. Cheers for that site fester, very handy.
