Broken Windscreen washer

Morning lads!

Your the best people to ask, so i hope you can help. Went to wash my windscreen this morning using the washer (As you do) And the right sprayer is, well, fooked. Rather than misting up nicely as it should, it squirts a solid lame spray from only one side, mearly hitting my windscreen at all. What would be the cause of this as it was fine yesterday, and how can i fix it?

Any input would be appreciated!

have you used vag spec washer fluid? Anything else is meant to crystalise in the washers and clog them?

So where can we get the washer fluid from as i wouldnt like to guess how much the stealer would charge

The dealer stuff is actually reasonably priced, and I even got a free half bottle left in my car at the last service.

BUT. the Halfords screen wash (the more expensive stuff) has water softeners in it and hasn't caused me a problem in two years, and I use loads of it.

It also dilutes very well indeed, something like 40:1 during the summer.

Come to think of it, it did happen just after i re-filled. Thanks for the advice, i'll have to get some asap.

It's the same with coolant if you top it up it's a vag spec stuff as well. It's reasonably priced too.
