nope! the only reason they fit under the o.z super t's on the R is because the spokes have been machined down for the 4pots to fit under, i kno willwood calipers fit. otherwise go for 17 inch wheels to fit over the brembos (or get sum 16 inch o.z's of an ibiza cupra r).

Yep, you can use Brembos and 16s running a spacer. Anythings possible if you have the time and patience to make it work.

AP 4pots you would be looking at around 1200??, you mayaswell stick with brembo's or willwoods unless you are running seriouse bhp or attend regular track days that is....

you can get 330mm discs and brembo under a 17" wheel so 16" should be a piece of piddle

I had my custom AP's made for ~£1200 a couple of years ago. (ok its badger/trade price, but discount from AP is diabolical so not a lot different from retail)

Not as bad as you think really Bill. 300mm 2-piece discs with 6 pots are just under a grand as a retail and will go under 16's. Why settle for 4 pots when you can have at least 6 or 10 :D They are billet calipers too, with all the seals and valves etc, all mated up to match and work best with your cars master cylinder.

Its a good price Andy... the 300mm, 6-pots for a just under a grand..
limited choice of pads and only Tarox brand available is a distinct put off for me. I have run Tarox G88 disks before and their pads on 280's and needless to say I have never wanted to use them again.

I can see the appeal of multiple pots etc but the qtys they sell are well OTT for the fitment of cars they are selling them onto.
Sounds good tho eh :D I have 6 pots.. no.... that all? I have 10 pots... :) (says he with a mere 4)

Replacement rotors and mounting hardware and pads are all things I would also take into account for "on costs" of owning them, and the availability of said replacements consummables.

The fact they fit under std rims is a very good one. Cheaper than buying brembos + wheels to clear them, but given the choice I will stick with mere 4-pot Brembo's for the money, and my AP's for racing.

F2Stu....Better distribution of the braking force over the pads and therefore discs.

Bill.... I understand mate.I personally have never had to delve that far to worry about the replacement rotors and mountings etc. Most of the people we sell to dont give them that much abuse to warrant them. Hell our TT has only just had to have its discs skimmed and new set of pads and that thing has done over 5k miles, just on a track!!! I'm not putting the Brembo's or AP down though dont get me wrong  :funk:
