Right last night I picked up a set of LCR brembos. The main reason being to replace the ones on my new LCR as the one on the car are peelng and discoloured.

Now the original plan was to swap the calipers over and sell the ones on the car right now, but...

I've just been mocking up the setup and tried them behind a wheel choice I have for the Cordoba. And the shocker is... They fit with LOADS of clearance which now has me thinking

I'm going to get golf 5x100 hubs pressed into the Mk2 16v hubs anyway to convert the car to 5 stud ( done the rear already ) and I've just mocked up the hub as it is on the disc with the brembo balanced in place ( with pads in to center the caliper ) and to me it looks like there's enough room to mount the caliper. The plan originally was to fit TT 312mm brakes but they require the caliper carriers machining anyway, so I figure it might be worth machining a set of brembo carriers instead and fitting these monsters :D

So this would be a Cordy 16v hub carrier, with a vr6 wheel hub and bearing. With the LCR discs, calipers, and pads etc. All I need is a pair of brackets (as the ones I've bought didn't have brackets as well )

Ok long explanation over...

So the question is does anyone have proper detailed measurements of the caliper brackets for an LCR? The last thing I want to do is go buy some and find they don't fit and can't be machined to fit.

I'll go take a pic of the kit mocked up to give a rough idea of the setup.

I have fitted them before to a MK3, iirc just requires a spacer for the standard bracket.

Nathan at APS should know for sure.

The hole centres for the caliper carriers LC & LCR vs Mk2 Cordoba are the same

As techies says all you'd need to do is alter the offset of the LCR bracket, be it shim it out with washers or machine a bit off

Piece of piss.

I measured the brackets on the LCR today. 95mm hole centers between hub bolts and 40mm from hub bolt center to mounting face of the caliper. It was the 40mm measurement I needed to check and 40mm is exactly what I need for the Cordy. So as you say it's just shimming or machining a bit off the brackets once I get my hands on a set. Nearly there now :D
