Anyone else on here (besides Bill!) have problems with calipers discolouring and burning the shiny varnish finish off?
My near side 1 has bubbled and flaked and tbh looks a right bloody state.
Is it possible to get heat resistant laquer to get them redone? Haven't seen any around but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist

Some people have had this repaired under warranty, plenty of issues with lacquer coming off Brembo's if you

Voila...

Yes i know that bit but mine are from Bill and shall we say not quite on standard disc size....

So basically i don't think they will (or Bill for that matter) would do a swap under warranty. just need to know where i can get hold of some high temp laquer

Well in that case some additional information would have been nice  not sure how I (or anyone else) was supposed to know how you are running bespoke Brembo's from Bill rather than an OE fitment

Not bespoke brembo's - they are totally standard.Just the 2 piece discs that are. Anyway that wouldn't make a bit of difference to the finish of the caliper which is all i'm interested in. Just want to know how to get them back into tip top condition

Same thing happened to my brembo's and both the dealer and Seat "customer" care refused to do anything with them even though the car is still under warranty. :censored:

Bought some E-Tech (Post Office Red) caliper paint and it is a perfect match.:) 20ish quid of e-bay.
