I was reading on here a while ago about this, and someone said that the diesels didnt have removable caliper carriers so the whole hub had to be removed and swapped with one that did and then you could do it, if this is wrong then no not to difficult, remove old callipers and carriers put new carriers and callipers on, replace discs with cupra r ones, bleed brakes and away you go ( put 18" alloys on first)

Hi,
The Brembos do indeed fit on the FR, but you need LCR 18" wheels or alternative to fit. Brembo calipers are quite chunky - see info on my site - www.drivertuition.com/LeonCupraBrakes.htm.
You will need to order a few extra bits to fit them, bolts, brackets etc. but the hubs etc. remain as standard.
Incidentally, sticky tyres will wear out the wheel bearings with these hubs if used a lot on track.

how much you gonna be paying for the brembos mate, cos there are some very good brake setups out there for less money (im presuming) than the brembos and will be a little different aswell.
Just a thought and not sure if the Brembos are streets ahead of the competition but cant imagine it. What about porcshe ones not that ive priced them but from a salvage yard got to be worth a look (i have seen some yellow ones on a black LCR on here somewhere but cant remember who's but looked stunning and were massiiiiiive :))
