From changing brakes on other cars, you should be ok if you have a competant mechanical knowledge.
BTW i think if you leave the link, you'll have a number of people from the forums bidding for them also!

I am looking to buy these brembo's of an Ibiza Cupra R of Ebay and i was wondering if the standard cupra rims would fit over them ok?
And also wether there is much work envolved (eg labour) if i get the full kit?

Cheers

Std cupra rims wont clear these.
Cupra-R rims were 7x16 OZ Supertourismo's in ET35 (and skimmed spokes)

minimum wheel clearance of 16" diameter is req'd (easy bit) AND 38mm caliper clearance as per this piccy>> http://badger-5.com/bin/wheel-section-view.gif

i knocked that auction up to 150 last night from 99p and still never got highest bidder

i wouldnt be surprised at all if the person that listed it is bidding with another account

so they wont go for under 500

Thats really annoying! I hate ebayers like that! theyre not worth £500, i might go for the willwoods after looking at them on the net! they seem a much better option, plus they will fit behind my standard alloys.

OMG! I thought they were like £480 and then jumped to £580.

£700+ ... That's put me right off Brembo! They faded on my Leon and I wasn't impressed! They did brake well ... Not as good as AP Racing brakes though I'm sure.

I think it's about £695 now.

I managed to buy mine on my old Ibiza for £320 2nd hand, whilst they were still £480 new :D

I wouldn't mind paying £250/£300 If I could sell my brake set up for say £50.

Fade wont be calipers... think about it dude :p

PADS my man... and fluid...

AP's on mine now x3 the price of the brembo's and they stop no better than the brembo's did.

(why change I hear... to make a 15" wheel fit over the biggest disks I could squeaze in)
