Yeah AMD wanted to charge me #95 + vat, but my mate sourced em for me, i was chuffed with the saving.

For info these are what the local seat garage also use too, so good to see the mark up on pads is still huge. Also a little bit of trivia, your pads will fit A Jag
Xj12 but they are the rear pads for that car!!!!! scary

I think from what i have read on other posts the brembo's are road pads so do have seals, where as the Alcons on the Pumas were pure race ones soo as you say seized up.

APEC pads are **** - cheap **** - simply put

local motor factors do em and by christ do they dust up and wear out fast, let alone fade like a mutha when used hard.

you pays your money and you takes ya choice.

Thats your opinion Bill. I had a set on my last Punto And they lasted for 25k no probs.

Also i have Apec discs and pads on the rear of my beeza and they are only the set i have seen with even wear and no issues of corroded discs.

Yes you do pay your money and makes your choice, buteven if they last half the time of yours still only cost me #3o for 2 sets.

Oh forgot to say, APEC are OE spec on Peugeots.

what can you supply standard oem spec pads for Bill??

Std factory pads Oe fitment are £60+vat
DS2500's are £90+vat
PF Carbon Metallics are £135+vat

you pays ya money and all that.

Needless to say, if you really use your brakes hard, it would be unwise to go for cheap products. You would'nt ever find an APEC product on any of my cars.

Yes my choice and my opinion based on actual experience of said. ;)

Like i said ive just ordered OEM pads for my brembo's and have no regrets, £60+VAT is cheaper than what ive quoted so far.
