Braking problem

Hi

I have a problem with my brakes, when braking I'm getting bad vibrations in the steering wheel, I notice it mainly when at high speed, when lightly braking it's not to bad, when medium braking it really bad and heavy braking it goes away.
Wasn't sure if it was warped discs,when I had a front tyre changed a few months ago I look at my pads and I'm sure they looked uneven, like thick at one end and thin at the other. Will get the wheel of tomorrow and have a good look.

Any help would be great

That sounds very much like discs if it only happens at motorway speeds whilst braking.

sounds like warped discs to me; what pads do you use?

what do the disk faces look like? blotchy?

not sure what pads are on the car, been on there just over a year from when I bought the car, sounds like the discs tho, will change both pads and discs

The discs look smooth and shinny, I was wondering if it could be the calipers not working properly, just by the tappered effect if the pads

I took the wheels off and had a look at the discs and pads and they seemed to look ok..

And then I found this

Will get the boot changed but still not sure on the steering wheel wobble under breaking, I think i'll pop into my local mechanic and see what they think
