Brakes

Ok, I've manage to get 48,000 miles out of my front and rear brake pads, and they now need changing.

The Leon is just over 3 years old, so is it worth sticking with Seat to for new brake pads, or should I go independant?

Any ideas of what prices to expect for dealers and independants?

The brake fluid was only changed a few months ago - would this need chaging again?

thanks

I would go to a local garage and take advantage of the lower labour charge per hour if you cant do it yourself.

Go independent. Apart from the lower labour costs, you'll also have the choice of using uprated pads or discs if you choose so.
As for the brake fluid, no that doesn't need to be changed. The general idea i believe is brake fluid is every 2 years or 20k miles IIRC.
