Brakes, help!

I've had a look on the search and can't find much for the model of my car regarding brakes (and I want to be sure before I go out any buy some!)...

I've got a '99 2ltr 8v Cupra Sport and I'm having trouble finding out which sized brakes I need. Are they the same as the 2ltr 16v as they are the only ones I can find under 1999!

im led to belive that they are different. 2.0 16v`s use 280mm discs and the 8v uses smaller discs. im not sure what size but they are something like 256mm. im ssure someboby will tell me/you if im wrong?

16v front brakes are 280 mm same as a g60

8v are 256 as said above....
